This resource includes an independent research task that allows students to build their knowledge around lung structure/function and lung diseases.
Suggestions for use:
Recap/extending knowledge after doing a lung dissection
A stand alone research lesson
Sub/cover lesson if you are not in school
If you are interested in flipped learning, you could give this to your students to complete prior to your lesson/unit covering the lungs even begins.
Activities included:
There is the opportunity to draw and label a diagram of the lungs (label names are listed).
Questions prompting research around lung disease (symptoms, causes and treatments).
Suggested web links for the teacher are also included - great if you want to share this research over Teams/Classroom.
Students will need a device to research for this lesson, great if you are a B.Y.O.D device school, or have a reliable source of tech!
