Problem Solving Lesson 1. Area of Sector 2. Area of Triangle 3. Finding an angle using Cosine Rule and using all/some of the skills to answer the 4. Area of the Segment The worksheet requires students to research different Skills and use the learning to answer the problem solving question using the skills learnt. The teacher role is just of a prompter...All the lesson is independently conducted by students. It can be adapted and used for one-one activity, paired or group work....By the end of the lessons students should have learn't the following skills and use them for problem solving questions... : 1. Area of Sector 2. Area of Triangle 3. Finding an angle using Cosine Rule and using all/some of the skills to answer the 4. Area of the Segment How to allow students to combine the skills they learn't to do a multi-stage question... These are new specimen materials designed for students aiming for grades 7-9 and are more challenging but, within syllabus, than the exam board papers. In one PDF you will receive three exam papers as well as the three mark schemes to each paper. the order will be paper 1H which a non-calculator paper, followed by 2H and 3H which are both calculator papers. Following the third paper, you will find the mark schemes for the three papers in the correct order. Also attached is a front sheet that can printed as many times as necessary to allow students to put their name, centre number and most importantly for students to get used to taking test in exam conditions. The teacher can also fill in the marks and grade on the front sheet if used as an in/out of class test paper. I hope you enjoy the resource, sold at a bargain price!
