This worksheet teaches students that shapes have different properties. The students must choose the correct properties matching the specific shapes and match it up. This is a slightly easier option to the worksheet 'Identify 3D Shape Properties'. This also introduces students to the concept of prisms and they must select the shapes which define it.
This washing line activity is really fun for years 3 and 4. I used it to teach hundreds tens and units. I hung the flashcards on the washing line, asked questions about the numbers (included) and allowed every child to have a chance to answer. The children loved it!
This worksheet is for students learning about 3D shapes and their properties. The students must specify the number of faces, edges and vertices each shape has. Additionally, this introduces the idea of prisms and the student is asked to select the shapes which are prisms.
