PowerPoint Lesson
The PowerPoint lesson explains why knowing alphabetical order is an important skill. It visually demonstrates how to place words in alphabetical order to the first and second letter. The PowerPoint provides many examples and opportunities for pupils to practise this skill. There are also tasks that involve pupils identifying where patients records can be found in a filing system and where CDs can be found in boxes.
The PowerPoint also contains a link to a short video explaining alphabetical order.
