This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Level 1 (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds, AQA, Highfield Qualifications, NOCN and Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, 70-slide PowerPoint lesson and a 32-page workbook on Outcome 7: follow the order of precedence of operators the order of operations.
These resources will help pupils to achieve the following learning outcomes:
know and use the order of operations in equations and expressions
use the order of operations to solve real life maths problems
