'A Christmas Carol' Scheme of Work

(0)
This scheme is aimed at lower ability GCSE sets. It tackles the novella from an exam practice based approach - pupils are encouraged to find their own quotes at every step of the SOW. There are 14 lessons in total (some of which can be set as homework depending on time restraints) and any necessary hand-outs. Graphics and planning are purposefully not very Christmas based so that the scheme can be taught at any time of year.

As most schools have now developed their own levelling system any sheets that previously included the NC numbers have been included both in the NC format and in a format with blank space to write in new levelling numbers or letters - whatever you've gone for :)

This is the first in a series of lessons on Macbeth - I hope to be uploading more soon.
