French Easter Egg Hunt in the Park Presentations, Actvity Sheets, Audio She
This special edition French Easter resource is more than just an Easter Egg hunt. It allows students to learn lots of vocabulary to do with the park and to use 3 prepositions “in, on, under” to identify where the Easter eggs are hidden in the park.
This resource is interactive and allows the teacher to teach and assess how well students have learned the vocabulary and language structures. The first powerpoint presents “The Park” vocabulary consisting of 24 items. These are split into groups of 8 and include 8 plurals, colour coded in blue and red to enable students to identify masculine, feminine, singular and plural nouns. Each set of 8 has an interactive summary slide to assess the students vocabulary development. Each item of vocabulary has a sound file attached, which will support non-specialist language teachers as well as pupils. Each set of 8 vocabulary slides has an accompanying activity sheet for students to identify and write the vocabulary under the correct pictures.
A park pairs game is also provided, allowing students to cut up and play this classic vocabulary memory game with their classmates.
An audio vocabulary sheet is an additional feature for this special edition, that enables students to develop independent learning either in school or at home, using a QR code reader (freely downloadable from an app store) to scan and listen to the vocabulary learned in the presentation.
Once students have become familiar with the park vocabulary they are ready for the great Easter Egg Hunt in the Park (La Chasse aux œufs de Pâques).
The Easter Egg Hunt activity sheets allow pupils to first find and count, in French, all the Easter eggs in the park. The answers are provided in an accompanying powerpoint, that is also interactive and enlarges the eggs so students can find them more easily if necessary.
The Easter Egg hunt enables pupils to name the colours in French and then identify where the eggs are. Pupils are supported with all the language structures and prepositions that are needed for this activity. The answers are provided in an interactive powerpoint, enabling the teacher to support all ability levels.

The first powerpoint resource presents 12 items of Christmas vocabulary with colourful, fun graphics. Each item of vocabulary has a sound file, which supports non-specialist language teachers as well as pupils. Both the specialist and non-specialist teacher can deliver and assess how well students have learned the vocabulary with two styles of interactive assessments at the end of the presentation, which help to develop both listening and reading skills. The vocabulary is colour coded in blue and red to enable students to identify masculine and feminine nouns.
The presentation has an accompanying set of colourful French Christmas display cards that can be used as large flash cards to play a variety of language games as well as brighten up any classroom with a Christmas vocabulary display.
Once students have become familiar with the Christmas vocabulary they are ready for the Christmas Splat game. This fun listening game enables the teacher to click on the audio for pupils to hear one of the items of vocabulary and race to find it on the Christmas scene, either on the board or on the accompanying splat sheet.
The Christmas ‘What’s Missing?’ Game is a fun way to encourage pupils to say what is missing from each slide. This aids speaking development as well as challenging memory skillls.
Finally, there is a Christmas Naming Game writing activity, to enable pupils to embed their learning of the vocabulary. The answers are provided in an accompanying powerpoint. The display cards can be used to turn this into a fun Christmas word hunt activity.

Spanish Weather in Months and Seasons Presentations, Display Cards, Activity Sheets & Playing Cards
This Spanish weather resource combines Spanish weather phrases with the months of the year and seasons to enable pupils to extend their conversation about the weather. It can be used as a stand alone resource, but it is also designed to follow on from the basic Spanish Weather and Spanish Months of the Year resources that can be found in the Language Magnet shop.
The first slide revises 12 weather phrases, followed by a slide for each month of the year showing a different weather phrase. For example, “En enero hace frío”. Once pupils are confident with the months of the year, they can apply the same structure to the seasons, for example, “En invierno hace frío”. The presentations provide full audio support for non-specialist language teachers and the teacher can click on the sentence structures either before or after the pupils speak, to assess learning.
The presentations are accompanied by two differentiated versions of a writing activity sheet to support different stages of learning.
There are two sets of weather, months and season cards for students to practise speaking and listening. One set of cards has the visual prompts only and the other set provides the key words and phrases, to enable pupils to create their own sentences.
A colourful set of 9 display cards for the seasons and weather is also provided with this resource to remind pupils of the language structures that they are learning.
