We use this as a year-round reference resource, and my students find it particularly useful for exam revision, whether working in class time or at home. We use the Notes and Next Steps template to think about progress and vocabulary knowledge. Students find this really useful, and do like to map and track their own progress. It can be helpful in guiding and informing whole-group discussion about learning and progress in general, which is a really useful learning activity too - students also note down any new English verbs they learn, enabling them to build a really comprehensive verb vocabulary reference resource.
