Workbook, presentation and letter to parents. Everything you need to start planning your day trip to St. Omer the workbook is full of information and tasks for students, from those starting to learn French or those who have been doing it for a while, junior to year 7. I have used it with students who don't study languages and they have enjoyed using it. The presentation is to make sure the students are prepared for the day, designed to be shown in a pre-trip meeting when laying out your expectations for the day. The letter to parents is inviting them to send their child on the day-trip. I have used this format for many years and trips have always gone very smoothly. I hope you have a great day!

There is the presentation powerpoint of furniture, 2 versions of the powerpoint on prepositions including a thinking skills starter, the lesson plan, a preparation and self-assessment document and support sheets with breifing notes for your Learning Support Assistant for SEN and EAL. I have used it with all abilities in year 7 but it could be used with junior school students who have some knowledge of French. A fun lesson, enjoy!

The French calendar resource has 3 sheets. The calendar with the French holidays highlighted, information about French holidays and questions on the French holidays. I have done this with students as a memory test, talking about the year and the various holidays then giving them the calendar and the questions on it to see how much they remember, could also be done as a team or pair game. Good for getting students to understand some of the cultural similarities and differences.
