Please note that you require the free tarsia software to open these documents, they will not open in other programmes. If you require help please email me. New AQA GCSE Physics 9-1 specification. Four tarsia activity puzzle documents included on; energy, electricity, particle model, atomic structure. Each one produces a different shape, there is one domino, one triangle, a rhombus and a standard parallelogram. My students have loved these activities, they are fun to work on in pairs, they guide the students to revise the particular key words etc that I know they will need to recall, and used together with my support mats (a large print out of my active revision card activities), the students can look up anything they are unsure of (they can quickly go over the content again). OR a useful marking free homework - at a glance check the student have correct shape, can be peer marked by posting up the solution on the board. You will require the free tarsia software downloaded to your computer, simply google it and install, if you would like on your school computer your computer technicians should be happy to help.

Forces and Motion Work Mats - Includes an answer sheets. Please leave a review! Includes; Distance, Displacement, Speed, Velocity; Distance-Time Relationship; Acceleration; Terminal Velocity; Newton’s Laws; stopping distance; momentum; a card sort; calculations pracise; formulae recognition. Suggestions below to - USE these is an outstanding lesson. An information mat AND worksheet/ work mat for students to collect and organise the information they require for the Newton’s Laws lesson. No books or other resources required for this activity as I have written all materials to work together and allow the students to work independently. Other science topics have been written and available, some for free some paid for. There are many uses for this resource depending on ability High Ability Higher sets are asked to read the review sheet as homework before the lesson, perhaps asking for a word glossary or mind map to be produced. The starter for the lesson would be to complete the work mat from memory, then switch to another colour to complete using the Information Mat (review). The rest of the lesson I ask a high ability set to apply the knowledge. Low Ability Lower sets are able to independently complete the work using the Information mat (review) and work mat together, they can read and simply find the answers.
