The sample includes four common errors at German GCSE, designed for practice in class or in 1:1 tutoring sessions. Some errors may also be suitable for KS3 or A-level.
The contents slide shows all the errors in the complete resource - these include tenses, word order, pronunciation, prepositions and more.
Four slides are dedicated to each error. Slides 1&2 are to elicit the mistake and clarify the rule. Slide 3 gives a practice exercise and bonus activity for fast finishers. Slide 4 shows the answers.
Colours are used to highlight key points.
There is variety in the practice exercises.

This is a resource I’ve used in the middle of 1:1 tutoring sessions about la fête nationale and the French revolution. I’ve found it works well with lower-level GCSE pupils.
Students listen to the story of the French revolution in simple French with pictures and keywords, and using the same slides then retell it in their own words in English.
The resource includes a presentation to illustrate the story and suggestions for how to use the resource, including a possible script, both in PDF format.
