This is a resource I’ve used in the middle of 1:1 tutoring sessions about la fête nationale and the French revolution. I’ve found it works well with lower-level GCSE pupils.
Students listen to the story of the French revolution in simple French with pictures and keywords, and using the same slides then retell it in their own words in English.
The resource includes a presentation to illustrate the story and suggestions for how to use the resource, including a possible script, both in PDF format.
All of my quizzes for KS3, GCSE and A-Level MFL lessons.
