There are 6 categories with 7 questions in each to test your knowledge on matters relating to local and international personalities in the movie industry, television, stage and sporting arena. Added to this your knowledge of books, geography and history may stand you in good stead for a good score! There are also some soundtracks and artists to identify and a section, that if you score well, your Gramps and Nan will be most proud.
Each question will keep the teams or individuals busy for some time and the quiz master/teacher can decide upon how long this should last. Each question has subsections attached and it is easy to use. As soon as the time is up for a particular section, hit the back button and the next topic and number can be chosen.
All in all a fun quiz tried and tested in my Year 6 - 8 classes. Definitely suitable for older groups as well. My classes had an hour of fun and even then we had not completed the quiz.
You can even copy this quiz onto your pupil's memory sticks so that they may take them home and test the family during the festive season.
At the conclusion of the quiz there is the opportunity to sing along to the number 1 Christmas hit as voted by many over a good few years - Merry Christmas by Slade with Noddy Holder belting out those now famous opening lines ... ask your teacher to demonstrate!

This jam-packed booklet contains loads of worksheets relating to ratio and proportion and is ideal for differentiated work in class, for homework/prep or for fun activities involving the whole family.
You may want to get your family together for this one as there is some cooking / baking involved.
