**Follows White Rose Schemes of Learning **
Each worksheet (there is one for each ‘small step’) has three sections: Varied Fluency, Further Fluency and Reasoning and Problem Solving. The ‘Varied Fluency’ and ‘Further Fluency’ sections, which are designed using similar representations found in the White Rose Schemes, are intended to be sliced and placed into one half of the learner’s exercise book, leaving the other half free for the learners to record their working out. The questions from the ‘Reasoning and Problem’ section are designed to be cut and stuck individually into exercise books, so that children can record their working out and thinking - a bit like a journal. The idea of journalling is something new to me, which I am trying with my class for the first time this year.
*Now includes 'Problem Pair Worked Example *

This pack of resources covers Year 4 consolidation for the 12th week of the Summer term.

Decimals
Money
Time
Statistics
Properties of shape
A suggested way to use this resource would be for the teacher to first model answering the question (I do). Then, the teacher guides the children answering the second question (we do). Finally, the children answer a question independently (you do).
Overall, there are 40 different questions in this resource, with 3 variations of each question: giving a total of 120 questions.
