Techniques used by the poet explored and complete annotation of the poem included. End of unit assessment question and sentence starters also included on last slide. Used with a year 8 classes (both lower and higher ability) but plenty of stretch and challenge in there and PP is easily adaptable.

Detailed exploration of this scene with a specific focus on commitment. Used with GCSE classes so focus on language, structure and techniques used by Shakespeare. Selected speeches and support worksheet included.

Purpose built lesson looking at how tension is built in TKAM. Used for an observation with very good feedback.

Comprehensive (120+ slides) PowerPoint looking at Macbeth - divided into acts with plenty of activities and supplementary material in preparation for the new AQA GCSE. It is an extensive study of the play regardless of exam board. Resources and selected scenes are attached, as well as possible assessment material. This has been used with both Year 10 and 11 this year and provided plenty of work for a term.
