10x + y = 4
8x + y = 25
There are 4 different easy sheets – all adding, all subtracting, one add one subtract and one where x and y could be negative.
• solve simultaneous equations where the coefficient of x OR y is a factor of the other x or y E.g.
4y + 7x = 117
2y + 2x = 40
There are 2 medium sheets – one with negative answers, one without
• solve simultaneous equations where x and y are random integers or decimals E.g.
4y - 3x = 34.5

Identifying types of angles in parallel lines tick or trash activity. A great consolidation and problem solving exercise for identifying corresponding, alternate, co-interior and vertically opposite angles in parallel lines. Great to use in a lesson on parallel lines as an assessment for learning activity to see if students can identify the types of angles before moving onto finding angles in parallel lines. There are 32 different cards on 4 pages, some with correct answers and some without. Students have to put the correctly labeled angles in the “Tick” pile and the incorrectly labeled ones in the “Trash” pile.
UPDATED - A couple of the answers were the wrong way around. This has now been solved. Please redownload if you have purchased this.
How to use:

Cut them out
Students sort them into correctly labeled piles and incorrectly labeled piles
Suggestions:
Do the activity in groups, pairs or individually
