Volleyball lesson plans/Scheme of work year 7

(0)
A SOW / set of 7 lesson plans for volleyball. This unit of work would be most appropriate for students that have never had volleyball lesson before or for a lower ability set that have had one unit of volleyball lessons. This SOW covers the following skills: Ball familiarisation (available free here) The volley Developing the volley The dig (using a reciprocal card) The underarm serve Passing and game play This SOW was created to save time for busy teachers and is made so teachers with little/no volleyball experience can teach it just as well as those with lots. You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation (mainly using youtube to view drills) and I made these so in most cases they can be just picked up and taught. The scheme has diagrams, All/Most/SOME outcomes, differentiation , teaching points, links to videos that show the skill, appropriate resource cards and clear explanations of the tasks. There are no timings included as each school can vary in terms of lesson time. They should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above.
