A set of differentiated worksheets for finding a percentage of an amount. Skills covered are finding percentages of amounts in multiples of 10%, multiples of 5%, multiples of 1%, multiples of 10% where calculations may involve decimals, multiples of 5% where calculations may involve decimals, multiples of 1% where calculations may involve decimals, percentage increase and decrease.
Fantastic to use in lessons where you have a lot of different stages of learning (or over a few lessons!). Also great to give to students for homework and they could pick the difficulty they wanted to do!

This Congruent shapes worksheet and notes page set are ideal for KS3 and GCSE students. Skills covered are: identifying a pair of congruent shapes on a square grid that are the same orientation and identifying a set of congruent shapes on a square grid that have been rotated, reflected or both.
There are 3 difficulty levels, Blue (easy), Gold (medium) and Red (hard).
Blue (2 x pages) covers finding congruent shapes that are the same orientation. The shapes are all different looking.
Gold (2 x pages) covers finding congruent shapes that have been rotated OR reflected.

This Rugby World Cup 2019 fixture/Score chart is great to display during the Rugby World cup!
Students/Teachers can check when Key matches are and fill in the scores as they go. When it comes to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals the teams can also be filled in.
The second page contains the teams in each pool along with their shirt.
I would recommend printing this off on A3 - However it does also print fine in A4.

This Rugby World cup resource has a wide variety of maths activities, so there is something suitable for every ability level in KS3 and KS4. This Halloween maths colour by number is a fun activity that will give students lots of practice of solving one step equations. A great seasonal activity to engage students this halloween.
Skills include solving one step equations where the variable is either a positive or a negative number. Add, subtract, multiply and divide included.
Student should answer the question, then colour in all the squares with that answer with the colour given to reveal a mystery picture. This particular picture reveals a witches cauldron. Great starter for lessons or to give to early finishers. Fun Halloween clip art border included that students can also colour in.

This lesson was specially made to cover the objectives of the Pearson textbook section 6.1 (apart from angles in quadrilaterals- this is a separate lesson)

This SOW / set of 6 lesson plans for gymnastics covers the following skills and objectives:
Lesson 1 - Basic shapes - Know and demonstrate the basic shapes in gymnastics and apply them to a variety of different contexts. To develop control, fluency, tension and extension. To understand the compositional aspect of levels.
Lesson 2 Rotations - To accurately replicate a variety of rotations. To know where the axis of rotation are. To apply skills learnt into a sequence
Lesson 3 – Jumps - To accurately replicate a variety of jumps. To apply skills learnt into a sequence
Lesson 4 – Individual balances - To accurately replicate balances individually.
Lesson 5 – pair balances - To accurately replicate pair balances.
Lesson 6 – Composition and assessment - To develop and apply knowledge of compositional aspects.
This SOW was created to save time for busy teachers. You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation, maybe watching a few videos before hand or printing out some resources. Please ensure you understand the health and safety aspects of gymnastics before teaching this unit. Refer to Teaching safe practice in Physical Education by BAALPE if need be.
The scheme has powerpoints, diagrams, animate GIFS, assessment levels, differentiation , teaching points, Assessment for learning/plenary activities, links to videos that show the skill, clear explanations of the tasks and all resources and links to the resources required via the lesson plan. No timings are included as each school can vary in terms of lesson time. They should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above.
