I think it is of great importance to discuss these values with learners so they know what they look like, you can address misconceptions and really set the tone for the classroom atmosphere.
These slides have lots of discussion prompts with follow up exercises of drawing and writing sentences about these school values as well as a game at the end for pupils to demonstrate what these expectations look like in action.
8 slides, approx 45 minutes of activity.
You can adapt as you need.
Here is a classroom jobs poster I created. I printed mine as two A4 documents, stuck them together and laminated them. But, this being said, you could have them as individual tickets or perhaps as strips and attach pegs with names on either side. They are flexible and of course the jobs are suited to my setting so you will probably want to edit them. I hope you enjoy. Miss HB x
I use this very simple template with 30 marbles to collect for my classes to earn a half-termly treat. I’ve always found other templates have way too many marbles to earn or too few. 30 is perfect for a half-term as there are rougly this many school days. I give class marbles for whole class working - everyone on task, working as a team, when adults compliment our classroom or transitions - assemblies etc
Hope it is helpful.
I use this to gather a song from every class member and then pull one out of a basket if they have extra time because everyone has been getting on or everyone is working beautifully during an afternoon art lesson. I also may single out a student working really hard and listening well to get their song played.
