Poster Planning Descriptive Writing This is a poster that can be used as a teaching aid / revision sheet for planning descriptive writing using the SSIMPLE acronym.

This lesson encourages pupils to work together to create a poem about the first day of school. After answering questions about how they feel, they then redraft the work togetehr as a group. Full lesson PP.
