This is one of a series of lessons/ activities / worksheets that I am uploading on the old AQA anthology poems. The lessons obviously have a comparative strand running through them and there are lessons for all of the poems from Cluster 1 and 2 uploaded as well as lessons that compare two poems or teach how to analyse them / compare them. Obviously no use for the old spec, but entirwely useful for the poetry comparison piece of controlled assesment in the new AQA spec.

Writing Lessons marriage and Family Lesson Writing Lessons Marriage and Family Lesson This is one of eight lessons on a unit that covers marriage and family and finding a job. The lessons go through whether marriage is relevant and then how to find a job. Part of an adult world Functional skills unit aimed at level 1 and 2 candidates.

This is one lesson powerpoint in full from the full scheme of work that has been written. Also uploaded is the full scheme of work with the resources as well as one by one lesson Powerpoints for the scheme, that have all been uploaded separately as 'Death penalty Writing Scheme lesson 1' etc, Written in my NQT year, it will need some updating to include APP criteria and AFL, but it appeals to all learners and has been very very popular over the years; a great starting point and it includes many citizenship strands. GCSE Old Spec. Exam Practise scheme lesson This is one lesson from a set of 9 that have all been uploaded separately. Although, the Old specification is no longer used for GCSE, I am aware of colleagues that still use past papers for teaching the skills for the new spec. Therefore, althout these lessons may not be relevant in the mainstream, they can be adapted and still used for revision purposes.
