GCSE Old Spec. Exam Practise scheme lesson This is one lesson from a set of 9 that have all been uploaded separately. Although, the Old specification is no longer used for GCSE, I am aware of colleagues that still use past papers for teaching the skills for the new spec. QQT cards – Pupil teaching cards analysis vocabulary These are a series of cards that can be used for pupil teaching –I use them with QQT – can also be handed out as a vocabulary sheet when using PEE – i.e words that must be used! Designed to teach / revise / recap analysis words. Cut them up, hand them to pupils and get them to teach themselves.

This is a full lesson for AQA New Specification Language Paper Preparation - it investigates what language is and tells pupils how to tackle the paper using examples and a mark scheme - a really succeeful lesson that is very detailed and pupil friendly - My D/C borderliners have responded very well indeed to these lessons and it will help teachers that are new to the spec too.
