Apprentice Scheme - Analytical Writing - lesson 2 This is one of a series of 6 lessons that are modelled on the Junior Apprentice. Pupils are encouraged to invent their own Ice Cream Product and launch it . They write a pitch for their product which can be assessed - either against FS level 2 criteria in English or NC APP levels. Writing to persuade - Selling The School lesson. This is one lesson with resources from a scheme of work that I've delivered about informative and persuasive writing. The theme was advterising and selling the school. The lessons obviously have context specific images and detail and you will want to change these for your own delivery but there are a variety of tasks involved that hit all different types of writing and the pupils really like the real life context. This is 1 lesson of 10 that i've uploaded - each as a separate upload with resources attached as all can be taught standalone too.

This is 1 of 5 lessons that is based on the Apprentice. Pupils analyse texts and the programme in order to come up with their own product and deliver a pitch. The Pitch is assessed as the GCSE group work speaking and listening component. The Real feel of the product is to ensure that they are competent with what they are actually talking about. Much Ado About Nothing SOW Full lesson This is one of a series of 19 lessons that form a full scheme of work on Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. All lessons uploaded separately. The lesson plans are supported by resources and powerpoints that have been used to deliver. The scheme culimlates in an Essay on Attitudes to Women that can be App assessed. I've taught it twice - to top and bottom set, so there are differentiated lessons attached where I have them.
