I am a French native speaker, really enthusiastic about teaching my language and sharing resources. I spent all my childhood in France. I moved to England eight years ago to do a Masters in Education and Modern Foreign Languages. I then did my teacher training (PGCE) in Modern Foreign languages, at King's College, in London and was in charge of the French department in a London private school for many years. I now teach and work as a Housemistress in a British school, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

ALL the posters and displays you can find in my French classroom: - The weather displays (I put them next to the window and everyday a pupil changes the card depending on the weather outside - they love being in charge of the weather card - you can do a monthly rota) - The Monster verbs (I have a whole wall next to my board covered with those verbs - I print them in A3 format so everybody can see them in the class - I find it so useful to have them all there - students find them very useful and check them constantly. - The behaviour displays (two displays that I put each side of my whiteboard - I put positive ticks next to students name on the angel side of the board to reward good work and if names are written under the negative smiley, students know they are close to be given a sanction) - The instruction displays (I have them all around my whiteboard and interactive board - ask students to use the target language to ask to go out of the class or get a dictionary - they find it very fun to ask in French) - The idiom displays (I have a reading corner with French books in my classroom and these idioms are all over one of the walls - it is great for GCSE and A-level students to have interesting phrases to include in their writing and speaking) - The opinion and intensifier displays (great for GCSE and A-level students to improve their writing and vary the opinions they use) - The question displays (outside my classroom, I have French questions in speech bubbles as well as common phrases used in France - I print them on A3 paper too - you can add pictures of your students linked to the speech bubbles which looks fun and interactive) For a display on progress and Assessment for Learning with the accompanying classroom ressources, please copy this link or visit my shop to find the "thinking clouds/les nuages pensants": https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/thinking-clouds-poster-booklet-all-subjects-showing-progress-afl-plenary-11263600 I hope you will enjoy my resources and if you have a question, please do not hesitate to contact me or leave me a message. Grammar and tenses in French {224 slides} - All the grammar from easy to challenging {EDITABLE}

(1)
I gathered all the grammar I teach from Year 7 to Year 11 into one single power-point and revision booklet. You can easily copy and paste the slides you need into your own power-point presentation! Students find it very helpful to have everything in one place with activities to practise and most importantly the activities enable them to work out the grammar points themselves before being given the detailed explanation. There is a "work out the grammar point" activity for each point studied, a detailed and clear grammar explanation with plenty of examples and one or several translation exercises/mini-whiteboard activities/written tasks for each grammar point. There are challenge activities for each grammar point too. 224 SLIDES OF GRAMMAR!! {EDITABLE} + a 224 pages printable student booklet to go with the power-point!!! The grammar and tenses covered on the power-point and booklet are: Slide 2 : je/j’ai Slide 3 : un/une Slide 7 : le/la/les Slide 10 : du/de la/des Slide 13 : quantities Slide 16 : aimer+noun/negative form (1) Slide 21 : porter+noun/negative form (2) Slide 24 : il y a/il n’y a pas Slide 27 : on peut/au/à la Slide 30 : pouvoir/vouloir Slide 32 : imperative Slide 35 : depuis+present Slide 38 : adj. agreement (1) Slide 40 : adj. agreement (2) Slide 43 : adj. agreement (3) Slide 49 : adj. agreement (4)/ être/avoir Slide 60 : adj. agreement (5) Slide 70 : possessive adj.
