AQA EDEXCEL This 8-page workbook is the 6th and final workbook in this series which takes students through all aspects of food preparation skills which they are required to demonstrate at GCSE. In this highly and colourfully illustrated workbook learners will work through skills and methods relating to dough, raising agents and setting mixtures. This is an ideal resource for learners to complete during a cover lesson, in an ordinary lesson, as revision or as homework. Tasks include matching pictures to skills areas and methods, applying thinking and knowledge, explaining applications of skills, identifying, discussing and explaining ingredients and finally a research task where learners are requested to put together a 3-course menu involving the methods and skills studied in prior tasks. The aim is to get learners thinking about where food comes from and how it gets from its source to being consumed. Also included is a file with 48 topic-related key words across the 3 resources. The key words are available as word cards and also as an alphabetical list with space to write meanings, definitions or simply for notes. All files are included as .pdf taken from Word documents. Each is also in two sizes, i.e. A4 and letter format.
