It contains all the GCSE topics with revision activities as well as two annexes: one for summer activities, one for grammar explanation. Message me in case of typos. I have added the word document versions of each part (the formatting might be off as it has been created on Pages on an Apple Mac).

A challenging lesson focussed on a song that is currently number 1 in the French charts. Starter: - Match the endings to the right pronoun Main: - Conjugate the infinitives in (taken from the lyrics) - Listen to the song and fill in the gap (using the verbs just seen) – don’t show the video as it is the lyrics video (it will show the answer) - Unjumble the key words (they can be found in the lyrics). Plenary: - Group discussion: what is the main theme of the song (answer: b. racism – although the other answers are also acceptable)

Based on Studio 1 Module 1. This presentation is used so that students are able to talk about their favourite artist (physical descriptions, character, likes/dislikes...). Most videos that are embedded are home-made (apart from the Rihanna one). I have also included a powerpoint to make it easier to change the content of the smartboard (just copy and paste after).

A presentation for describing yourself and other people. It might not be ease to use (flash embedded content) but all you have to do is press the play button until the animation stops and press play again and so. I am working on a solution so that it can play more easily...

A lesson on fashion and clothes. The starter asks students to find antonyms to adjectives. it is followed by an introduction of vocabulary (pictures and words can be revealed using the rubbed). Then, there is a listening comprehension (as a video, embedded). Followed by a reading comprehension based on a VOGUE article of Lady Gaga's fashion faux-pas (worksheet). The plenary is an 'Encore une fois' acitivity. ALL activities include extension. This lesson was rated as outstanding by both an Advanced Skills Teacher and an Excellent Teacher.

A lesson based on the the evolution of the role of women at home and sexism in society. It includes two listening activities - Le sexisme dans les livres pour enfants and les garcons qui jouent a la poupée. Activities come from various places but have been adapted to the needs of my group. A worksheet is a support for all the activities in the presentation.
