The first mat is full of general activities that you could use in lessons to explore the book as a whole. The second and third pages are full of activities which are specific to each individual fantastic woman in this book. This resource is perfect for children to take part in a research project all about bees. It would be a perfect activity for World Bee Day on 20th May! There are 3 versions of the booklet included - 2 to a page, a single sided version and a double sided version - which once stapled together are great independent or paired research booklets. This writing pack contains resources for a week’s worth of writing all about the things we might find in The Queen’s pocket! This would be perfect for celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s jubilee this year, and can easily be differentiated to suit all stages!
