This thinking skill based resource introduces pupils to a Welsh town suffering from a build up of rubbish. Mirroring actual events happening now around the world pupils can debate the opinions of the townspeople, consider the impact of waste on the environment and evaluate the possible effects of these problems in their own areas.

Introduces pupils to the number 7. Pupils follow a character through a story where she finds seven of every item. Pupils then learn how to correctly form the number 7, and learn to recognise the number among other symbols through a series of games and activities. Learning objectives: to use mathematical language in the correct context, to begin to recognise numbers and to begin to match numbers to sight and sound.

The resource pack includes downloadable mp3 songs and stories along with interactive activities to cover mathematical development, creative development and knowledge and understanding whilst promoting the development of Welsh language.
A unit of work to support understanding of the section on World Trade in the WJEC GCSE Geography (A) specification. Long a and long e vowel sounds. Pupils see 3 different graphemic representations (spellings) of these vowel sounds and are asked to make words using the Wordmaker machine. If the answer is correct the word is spoken and a picture appears. Suitable for older pupils with SEN.
A series of activities to develop the pupils skills as they prepare. Emphasis is placed on the importance of hygiene in food preparation. Pupils are given the opportunity to investigate readymade meals on the market. There’s an opportunity to develop number when weighing readymade foods and measuring their area. After creating a brief, there are a series of videos to introduce making skills as the pupils prepare and cook in the classroom.
