This thinking skill based resource introduces pupils to a Welsh town suffering from a build up of rubbish. Mirroring actual events happening now around the world pupils can debate the opinions of the townspeople, consider the impact of waste on the environment and evaluate the possible effects of these problems in their own areas. Packaging is a series of Powerpoints that form a Unit of Work that supports the teaching of Design, in particular Packaging. Packaging is aimed at developing the skills needed to understand the process of Packaging and how to design a suitable product that fits the needs of the consumer. Introduces pupils to the number 7. Pupils follow a character through a story where she finds seven of every item. Pupils then learn how to correctly form the number 7, and learn to recognise the number among other symbols through a series of games and activities. Learning objectives: to use mathematical language in the correct context, to begin to recognise numbers and to begin to match numbers to sight and sound.

A unit of work to support understanding of the section on World Trade in the WJEC GCSE Geography (A) specification. The unit includes comprehensive notes with appropriate animations, a glossary of terms, activities to test understanding and model exam answers to questions.
