A resource to support very low ability students in putting together a feature article on homework. The group struggles to write independently due to SEN needs and EAL. This resource produced some excellent pieces of writing.
Discussing poetry at GCSE- terminology and discussion points. Info on Unseen Poetry exam.
I found that students were making very weak comments about the effects of poetic devices in poetry. Therefore I created this mind map that can be used as a placemat or classroom wall poster. It encouraged students to look at the writer's intention more, rather than just writing "this has a positive effect".
I will be using with AQA Power and Conflict poetry GCSE, however it is flexible.
