A range of writing tasks looking at the skills needed for AQA paper 2B. These include topics such as healthy eating, death penalty and identity. Could potentially last a number of weeks.

Revision clock for VOT question at A Level. Could be used for different exam boards.

Worked great with my MA-LA Y11. Students were given a selection of key terms and quotes and had to summarise each act trying to include as many as possible as well as their own contributions.

The sheet needs to be laminated and used over texts as a prompt for students. This has really helped the confidence of my Y12 students.

Planning a new AQA GCSE answer on a Christmas Carol.

Macbeth Act 5 walk through with LA. Between the slides we read and annotated. This was used to walk through Act 5 quickly in preparation for a formative assessment. Includes work on the tragic hero.

Looking at tone in A Christmas Carol. Looks at language matching activity and then gives and extract and helps LA students to answer exam questions.

A creative writing worksheet using a structure strip to build a description of a scene from A Christmas Carol. Includes starter and peer assessment grid.

An extract with questions designed at encouraging students to consider context, audience and use of terminology more. This was used with a mid-high ability Y7 class following an assessment on the blank extract. This meant that students could show progress.
