With teaching in Product Design often focused around coursework, the exam paper is often not given as much time as it should. This resource, however, should help students get to grips with what they need to know in a very efficient manner. Having created and used these notes myself, I was able to achieve 100% in the exam paper (2018).
The notes are relevant for exams from 2018 onwards as they are centered around general Product Design topics including materials, production tools etc. Around 1700 words in total spanning 7 pages.

Included in these notes are detailed and original analyses of Louis Malle’s use of certain techniques, including camera movements as well as setting, costume etc. These are important things to discuss in order to access the highest marks.
In addition, some contextual detail is included within these resources. Not only does this discuss WWII, it also elaborates on the way in which the date of the film’s creation, 1987, relates to the subject matter, as well as Malle’s life and the New Wave of cinema.
A detailed and original analysis of the themes/language techniques used in each chapter of L’étranger. These can be used in planning for essays or for students who wish to elaborate on the ideas here in order to develop their own.
This includes links with Camus’ context (World War II, French Algeria, Absurdism etc.)
18 pages in total.
