It begins with a true or false task that focuses on the events of the previous scene (Old Joe’s). Learners will then read from, ‘“Spirit,” said Scrooge, shuddering from head to foot…’ down to, ‘“I beseech you.”’ After reading the passage, learners will undertake a worksheet that includes a range of differentiated questions.
