This is music planning aimed at Year 5, but can easily be adapted for other year groups within Key Stage 2 for their music lessons. There are 7 lessons in total, 6 lessons covering different eras of music starting in the 1940s up to the 1990s; the final lesson ending with the children creating their own piece of music inspired by one of the eras covered.
