Two lessons designed to encourage pupils to investigate an exam based question. Each lesson looks at a different scene (Act 1 Scene 5 and Act 1 Scene 7). Then pupils are encouraged to write an essay to investigate their findings.
A full lesson to encourage pupils to investigate how staging effects the audiences perception of events. Contains a starter to be completed after reading Act 1, Scene 1. Pupils then complete a Jigsaw activity in groups or individually to investigate 4 areas of staging. Followed by independent directed writing. Uses 1-9 criteria.
