A selection of “Retrieval Activities” based around GCSE Studio French Module 7 For each 2 page spread in the chapter (including Point de Départ pages), there are 2 powerpoint slides which can be used to help students recap previously learned vocabulary and structures: a) “Cinq par Jour” - a selection of 5 questions ranging from single word / short phrase translation to an open ended question for students to answer in French b) A retrieval grid of 16 items for students to translate. Items are colour-coded and worth between 1 and 4 points depending on difficulty. An easy way to measure progress over time and incorporate an element of competition into lessons. Ideal as no-prep starters or a “refresh your memory” interval in a double lesson! Could also be used as a revision tool for students working remotely!
