An document that covers the assessment criteria for the NEA section of the AQA GCSE D&T course, this has been broken down into ‘grade categories’ across the criteria and has been taken from the specification document. Criteria is combined between grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-9 and is ideal for tracking a practice NEA project. This is NOT a formatted tracker - it i grade boundary language. This was used as a highlighted sheet with students to feedback where work sat within possible grade boundaries.

Original purpose was to be used as a demonstration with pupils able to assist in parts of making the foods (recipes included) with additional taste test and evaluation/sensory analysis completed in classes or smaller groups. Could also be used as a lesson or series of lessons to explore cultural foods linked to R.E, Food Technology or linked to Chinese New Year or other special events. Teamwork lesson to divide a revisit the 3 topic areas of the Processes and Manufacture section resulting in writing of own exam questions and testing each other. Includes; Powerpoint to guide the lesson and tasks Information sheets with specification information and links/key words QR code display sheets with links to videos and information (one link is for GCSEPod which will require log in, but all others are available for all) Photos of the mind-map task with QR codes used in my own lesson (we used window pens and wrote on the glass but could also be done on large paper or on tables instead)
