This pack includes guided reading plans for the following text:
Cosmic by Frank Cottrell Boyce (Years 5/6)
In total there are 18 guided reading lesson plans, covering each of the sections in the book. Each plan contains a 'reading and responding to the text' activity which is designed to be completed with the class teacher with the reading group. There are then follow up independent activities which the children can then complete during the remainder of the week. All of these activities are closely linked to the new National Curriculum objectives and these are listed at the beginning of each plan.
Each plan also has a list of difficult words which the children can check the meaning of before the teacher led session, space to list the names of the children who are working on the text and a space for a teacher notes and evaluation. The plans have been written by an experienced primary school teacher and have been tried and tested in the classroom.
This Powerpoint pack contains seven weeks of GPS challenges aimed at covering half a term.
Aimed at Year 6, there is one grammar, punctuation or spelling challenge for every day of the week covering a range of topic areas from the new National Curriculum.
A great resource to use as a starter/plenary to a literacy lesson or to put up on the board during any spare minutes at the beginning or end of the day.

This 73 slide PowerPoint is the perfect revision tool for the forthcoming Grammar test.
In total 35 different grammatical terms are covered with each term covered over two slides.

This 58 slide PowerPoint is the perfect revision tool for the KS2 literacy curriculum
In total 17 different types of puncutation are covered with each term covered over at least two slides.

Our new 'Fun with Phonics' resource is designed to develop pupils confidence when reading phonetically decodable words. It is also to support preparations for the Year 1 phonics screening check.
The pack contains five different activities each week where the pupils are encouraged to decode words, which contain graphemes up to and include phase 5, and use these in a range of situations.
