Activity 1 - 10 sentences with missing words. Children to write out the sentences including the correct spelling word. Activity 3 - Sentence writing challenge. A visual prompt is given and the children need to write sentences with the spelling words included. If the less able find this task too difficult then there are suggestions of alternative activities in the notes section of the PowerPoint presentation (not on PDF) Each activity is designed to take between 10 and 30 minutes and can either be built into the curriculum or given as homework activities. The spelling words and activities are aimed at children in years 1/2 and can be completed on paper or in books.
