Lesson objective: To find pairs of numbers that satisfy an equation with two unknowns
In this lesson, students will learn how to complete one and two step equations before looking at equations with two unknowns. They will work through the questions on the presentation before completing a range of problems independently.
3 levels of differentiation are provided in the worksheet as well as the answers.
Duration: 1 hour
This is an engaging lesson which comes with an interactive power point presentation and all corresponding activity worksheets. It is designed for Year 6 but could easily be modified to suit lower KS2 and KS3.
