Here’s a full sample paper that we’ve created for AQA GCSE English Language Paper 2 (Writers’ Viewpoints and Perspectives). The overall topic is ‘Travel and Exploration’. Text A is an extract from Isabella Bird’s ‘Unbeaten Tracks in Japan’; Text B is an excerpt from Captain Scott’s Diaries in Antarctica. The exam-style questions are based on the wording from official AQA Exam papers. An official AQA mark scheme from the previous year would be suitable to mark the answers.
