5 levels of difficulty/differentiation. There are 100 cards each (with answers) on the following topics: solving by factorising, solving by comleting the square, factorising quadratics, using the quadratic formula and harder quadratics. 500 questions and answers in all.
A stack of cards is shuffled at the beginning. Each time you land on any square (including snakes and ladders) the player must pick up a card from the deck. Get it right stay there, get it wrong miss a turn.
I have included 2 boards. One has 30 squares and is ideal for a quick game or activity. The other has 100 squares, which would be useful to get in more practice and lead to a longer game.
Great for higher GCSE Students and AS Students studying core 1.
All funds raised by the sale of this resource will be donated to the NSPCC.
Enjoy.
I’ve created some mind maps to help students revise the 4 main areas in maths: Algebra, Number, Shape & Data. Simple language has been used to make them accessible to all students.
I also included corresponding checklists for students to use to help them with their revision. A smiley face denotes the student has mastered & is confident in the topic, straight- could do with some revision, and unhappy- this topic needs attention. These are in word doc format so feel free to edit/add/subtract to them.
I’ve used this to help plan revision lessons and get an idea of what the group finds difficult and this has worked well.
For a more in depth look at the individual areas please see my other resources:

The included files were inspired by the many maths murder mystery cryptography challenges (links are in the resource pack). This version is based on the gunpowder plot & in it students must discover the date, the culprit(s), the location and the victim (History students may find this task slightly easier)
I’ve made it accessible for key stage 3 and 4 students (may be a little too challenging for KS2), Makes a good whole class activity, can take up a whole lesson & I have used it on many occasions for a cover lesson. I’ve also created handouts in case you wanted to let the students do it individually. I sometimes give a prize to the student who solves it first.
I hope your students enjoy it & are able to solve the mystery.

I've also created a worksheet with plenty of questions for them to create tables and plot (answers included in separate files) Also contains a little on factorising quadratics.
Please see my free resource on straight line graphs that can be downloaded here https://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/linear-straight-line-graphs-all-in-one-11072226
