These resources are planned to support students with a walking, talking mock of the Component 2 PSA. This is not used with students who are sitting the PSA as you obviously cannot guide students through these tasks. Each bullet point of the task is explained and suggestions given with regards to which content to include. Students are talked through how to attempt each task, and then given the directed time to complete each task. This Walking Talking Mock is for the September 2023 release. If you download PLEASE review. There are 10 lessons here, if you deliver it as planned. Legislation lesson takes 3 lessons as one is input, followed by 1 lesson of researching in groups and creating a presentation, with the third lesson ebing their presentations. Equality and Inclusion uses 2 long clips. 1 is 20 minutes long, the other is 60 minutes. These can be taken out if you need to save time. BTEC Nationals, Level 3, Health and Social Care: Unit 4 Controlled Assessment. Please leave a review! You will need to log onto Pearson and download the Jan 2020 release material to support this download. The first powerpoint supports students in how to do their research and set up their notes. I have put a small time frame in there for my classes. This is a practice run through so students have less time than the actual controlled assessment. There is then a feedback powerpoint which uses the examiners report to provide sample answers that show 2 nearly perfect answers and 2 answers that I then intend on live writing/modelling based on their responses from their practice (hoping their responses are good enough to use as future model answers!)
