King of the Swamp, English unit of work
KS1 English unit of work.
Using ppt and differentiated worksheets, this is a two week unit of work based around the story King of the Swamp.
It is designed to encourage children’s sentence development and allows plenty of opportunity for them to orally rehearse sentences before writing. It also encourages discussion of the issue of caring for our world and includes simple butterfly life cycle cards to support children’s understanding.
