I collect pictures of famous people from magazines, (preferably A4 size). Children can choose a picture which they then cut in half. Stick one half onto a piece of drawing paper and draw in the other half. It sometimes helps to turn the paper upside down so that the children look at specific lines, not the person as a whole.
