A resource that should be printed back to back (on long edge) and cut out and folded. The circuit names are already printed on the resource and it allows students to research either in a lesson for a homework the symbols. The tabs all neatly fold over in the book, making the key terms stand out. There is also space for teachers/students to add an extra one when and if required.

The year disadvantaged list can be used to track the disadvantaged/ vulnerable students within the whole year group and monitor any interventions. Use SIMS to gather student information add in how your students are disadvantaged and add the number of groups up. Add the barriers to learning the student may have Add in details from any IEP and who is responsible for it What strategies are used to overcome difficulties Then add report data - is the student on track? how subjects are they off track in? are they making expected progress in Eng/Maths Also included is the "disadvantaged profile" that individual teachers can use to track disadvantaged students in their own classes

Students cut out and colour the layers of the sun. Write the name of the layer/zone and then use the table to research information about it. This foldable allows students to see first hand how waterfalls are formed and makes them use key terminology to explain the process. It is much better than drawing the stages in a book purely because it moves and the interactive element it has. Students colour and label the key features. Glue the 2nd layer down which then folds back as the waterfall erodes and retreats. The waterfall question sheet can be cut out and stuck on the back of the folding waterfall. This is a great teacher timesaver as it is ready to print and the students will really engage with making their own personal waterfall...why not get them to name it? This is set up as a time saver so you can track what topics have been covered in your department for Y9,10 and 11. It has been formatted so all you need to do is type in the group and set, put the name of their teacher in and then once a topic has been completed type in a 9 for Y9, 10 for Y10 and 11 for Y11.
