AQA Triology GCSE Chemistry Content, required practical and skills PLC:
The Trilogy Chemistry content broken down into 'can do' statements. Teachers can RAG rate student progress to highlight strengths and weaknesses on this already formatted spreadsheet. All you have to do is put a number in and it will change colour automatically, saving you time and effort.
Also include is a required practical tracker, a trilogy Chemistry required practical assessment booklet and a general scientific skills PLC tracker.
PLC trackers are included for the chemistry trilogy required practicals, energy changes, chemical changes, quantitative chemistry, atmosphere, rates of reaction, organic chemistry, chemical analysis, bonding and structure, atomic structure, key skill areas,
This resource should help you track student progress until they master each element of the Chemistry trilogy specification. The tracker will support written reports, inform students of the next steps and could even be used at parents evenings to inform parents of progress.
Students can colour and create their very own interactive flipbook that shows how stumps are formed from stacks, caves, arches and cracks.
Each flip page has room to describe what is occurring do students can be assessed.
There is also a blank storyboard attached and one for students to explain the formation of Old Harry
Students cut out the sheets and take in sticking the 'window' pane down so that the symbol, hazard and controlling risks strips can slide up and down in their exercise books.
Activity can be used to self assess knowledge, peer assess each other and then match up symbols,to hazards to controlling risks on the accompanying worksheet table. For extension work - encourage learners to extend their learning by looking up other symbols such as compressed and radiation.
This can be attached to every TDA to show the amount of marks given for each TDA, it also speeds up the marking and assessing process. This can also highlight areas which your students are finding more difficult to write up so you can spend more time more time going over these weaker areas.
Engage your students as they learn all about the structure and function of the Circulatory System, as they make an interactive foldable heart and lungs that can be coloured and stuck in their books. This is an ideal activity to explore circulation, the heart and lungs especially if students are to squeamish to complete it in other formats
Product includes:
The foldable printable with model pictures to support students
a story board template students can use to explain and describe

This pack contains a question a day revision resource, a activity pack for pupils to do using retrieval and spaced learning and some helpful hints.
I have printed back to back as an A3 booklet as a handout for Year 11.
A assembly with a 5 minute tube link about the inspirational father and son, Rick and Dick Hoyt. When on the achievements page I would talk about the who they actually are - leave the “surprise” of the disability until the video.
The powerpoint goes through various topics (based on AQA B1 and B2 but I am sure will link to other specs with ease) regarding variation and genetics. It is all based around a Jurassic Park/World model Jurassic Land and the students will embark on an adventure to complete an apprenticeship programme at I-gen.
There is a front sheet also attached and a sheet in which students can genetically engineer a T-Rex into the I-Rex.
This series of lessons is not split up as such but needs your professional judgement of what to include and what not to include and should support your teaching and learning in your SoW .
I hope it helps. Find me on twitter @TJohns85

Print off and give to all students to review the year. A brilliant end of year activity. Students anomalously can then hand them back in - fold the slips and place in a jar for you to read later.
