List information that you want students to include in their report on the board, for example, planet’s distance from the sun, average temperature, number of moons (refer to rubric).
Versatility
The flipbook-style templates would make research on the planets more fun and engaging for students. The templates feature a visual of each of the nine planets and ample lines for students to write sufficient information.
Get your students out of the four walls of the classroom and into the outdoors with this fun activity. Students will graph the car colours in the Staff Car Park.
They will have the opportunity to use tally marks to collect data to construct a bar graph.
A set of questions also requires students to interpret the constructed bar graph. Not only will learning be more realistic but also it will be a welcome change, perhaps from the daily routine.
See more bar graphs in the Mega Graphs Bundle.
