ART MADE SIMPLE!
5 RESOURCES:
Draw and paint a car, cruise ship, train and aeroplane.
Simple steps to follow for each activity.
Colouring in sheets also provided
Whenever a birthday lands on a ‘school’ day, I ask the children to interview the birthday boy or girl. They ask questions about presents, favourite things etc. and I record the information on the board.
The children then complete their birthday booklet (attached) for the birthday child. The birthday child also completes a birthday booklet (attached) about themselves. Once finished, I put all the booklets together with a simple binder and laminate the front and back cover.
The children really enjoy taking home a special birthday book on their birthday; one they can cherish forever and look back on in years to come.
I’ve attached all the booklets you need, 14 front cover (examples) and a ‘Happy Birthday’ slide.
