Art - Colour Mixing Wheels

I usually begin each school year by reminding the children of the 3 primary colours: Red, yellow and blue. Then they use the colour wheels to make secondary colours: Red + yellow = orange Red and blue = purple Yellow and blue = green Colour mixing wheels are ideal for art lessons especially if you are trying to make different ‘shades’ of a colour. I’ve also attached another activity for making different colours.
