This Back To School - Tutor Time Pack - November is another of our INTERACTIVE tutor time resources. It contains a range of different tasks that can be completed during Tutor Time. If this is used throughout the school, it is designed to be cascaded through lessons throughout the week.
The PPT contains 84 slides (inclusive of printable pages) . Included in these slides are:

This is useful for instilling literacy and numeracy maintaining continuity throughout the school.

This is a FULLY INTERACTIVE resource that has been professionally designed to spark debate surrounding the United Nations Declaration for Human Rights.
Included in this resource is a worksheet that pupils can either use to formulate questions that have been generated by the Debate Generator or to write bullet pointed answers. It is suggested that these be printed as A3 handouts.
The PPT slide can be copied and pasted into any lesson or can be used a s a stand alone resource. Click on the spin button to start the selector and the stop button to stop it. You can reset the selector at any time to restart the process.
The prompts in green are the easier words, the colours will vary as the prompts get harder (from green, to yellow, orange or red).

This is a great resource for getting pupils thinking about how exam questions are formulated. It is designed to get pupils into the mindset of the chief examiner to see how they could word questions based on the 4 questions that are in the exam (a-d Key Words, Describe, Explain & Evaluate).
This is also great for revision and keeping pupils ‘on their toes’ as the topic and questions that come up are random.
You can copy and paste the Exam Question Generator slide into any presentation you wish or use the slide as a standalone resource.
The Exam Question Generator will generate the start of an exam question and an area of content that you have taught the pupils for Component 3: Islam. This will then enable you and/or the class to come up with an exam style question based on the selected question and topic generated.

This is an introductory lesson to marriages within the Hindu tradition.
By the end of this lesson pupils will be able to discuss the benefits and challenges of arranged marriages.

Energy: Sankey Diagrams Lesson
This is a fully differentiated lesson teaching pupils of how to represent energy efficiency as a Sankey diagram.
This Sankey Diagram pack contains: A PPT (33 slides) and handouts (5 sheets) .
Activities include:
Starter Task:A Thinking Skills questions- on energy efficiency.
A demonstration on how to draw Sankey Diagrams.
Pupils will then look at three devices and their energy efficiency.
Activity: Pupils have to calculate the energy efficiency of these three items and create Sankey diagrams based on the data. There are differentiated sheets within the workbook to aid pupils who are having difficulties in drawing them.
A peer assessment on the individual activities is included too.
Exit task/Plenary: Pupils have to name the energy in the pictures, identify the useful energies and state whether they are efficient or not.
